This beautiful property in Auvergne is Apartment number 5 which is situated on the ground floor and at the Eastern side of La Residence du Parc. As such the apartment benefits from all day sunshine through the full height, double glazed windows and a pleasing view over the gardens.

The property has a spacious and airy ‘feel’ with high ceilings and bright interior decoration. With the convenience of separate downstairs and upstairs toilets, washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave oven and dishwasher, the apartment really is a well appointed ‘home from home’.

A spiral, wooden staircase leads to the upstairs, which has two bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet. Both bedrooms have a double glazed window and wall lights. There is also a telephone point and TV arial and satellite point.

The upstairs bathroom is tiled floor to ceiling with Portugese marble and is equipped with a white balneo ‘jacuzzi’ bath, with an over shower and chrome fittings. There is a separate white vanity unit and a heated towel rail and chrome towel shelf.

The apartment is well insulated, with 10cm Rockwool insulation on all exterior walls and 10cm insulation plus ‘doubleskin’ for internal walls separating accommodation and communal access areas. The floors throughout are tiled with Carrare Marble with the bedrooms fitted with insulated stratified parquet. Heating is provided in the way of programmable and thermostatically controlled convector heaters.

The apartment residents benefit from a secure parking area, entered through remotely controlled electric gates, with a private parking space and full use of the communal gardens. The apartment also has a ‘videophone’ linked to a bell push and camera at the entrance gate, with controls to automatically open the car park gates and entrance hall doors. The apartment also has a storage ‘cellar’ in the basement of the building, where there is also a large, commercial size tumble dryer and residents can also use the large garage at the rear of the building to store bicycles etc.

An ideal place to stay for a long term holiday in Auvergne.

There is a gym area provided for residents which has a high density foam floor and is equipped with exercise bike, weights, rowing machine etc. There is also a sauna and private changing rooms, toilets and showers.

Please note that the gym area and cellar storage area are only available for lets of three months or more.
